About Al Furqan Seminary

At Al Furqan Seminary, we don't just teach texts. We form students.

For over a decade, our teachers have guided hundreds of learners from their first Arabic letter to the completion of the Alimiyyah curriculum, pairing unbroken chains of transmission with a modern, welcoming classroom.

Now, it's your turn to begin.

Yusuf Rahman
Enrolling at Al Furqan is one of the best decisions I have made. I understand the Qur'an I recite, and I've found teachers who genuinely care about who I'm becoming.

Yusuf Rahman,
Alimiyyah Program, Year 3

Alimiyyah Program

Prepare for a journey through the sacred sciences like no other.

Our Alimiyyah Program isn't just a course, it's a life-shaping path. Led by qualified scholars, it takes you from foundational Arabic to the classical texts of fiqh, hadith and tafsir over five years, part-time or full-time.

Rooted in Tradition,
Built for Today

Balancing faith, family and work is demanding. Every hour you give to study should count. That's why we built programs in clear stages, each with a defined outcome, qualified teachers and a cohort that travels with you. Here, you'll find rigour, warmth and a path that fits your life.

Dr. Tariq Aziz

Dr. Tariq Aziz

A consultant physician, Tariq joined the Qur'an Memorisation track at 46, two evenings a week. Four years later he completed his hifz with tajwid and now leads tarawih prayers at his local mosque each Ramadan.

Stay connected with our lineup of lectures, gatherings and retreats.

Monthly lectures with visiting scholars, a Ramadan evening series, and a three-day spring retreat outside the city. Every student is invited.
